Ongoing safeguarding support

An independent perspective.
A continuing relationship.

Scheduled advice and practical input, shaped around your school’s priorities.

Built around your setting

Agree the support.
Know the commitment.

An ongoing relationship can combine scheduled advice, targeted reviews and planned visits.

The right arrangement depends on the questions you need to resolve, your internal capacity and the work you want included. Your written quotation sets out the contact time, review work, visits, response arrangements, duration and fees.

Formal investigations are scoped separately, with independence and previous involvement considered before acceptance.

Possible elements

A useful combination of support.

01

Advice and professional challenge

Scheduled phone or Teams discussions to examine concerns, assess options and identify practical next steps.

02

Targeted review

Agreed policy, record, risk assessment or welfare plan reviews, with specific feedback and improvement priorities.

03

Visits and improvement work

Planned visits, focused reviews and follow-up on agreed actions where these are included in the brief.

Clear before commitment

Your written scope.

  • The purpose of the work and the outputs you will receive.
  • The number and length of discussions, reviews and visits.
  • Availability, response arrangements and the engagement period.
  • Fees, expenses, exclusions and how additional work is agreed.

Ongoing support is scheduled professional input, not an emergency response service.
